Program Background
The Union Baptist / Harvey Johnson Head Start (UBHJHS), located at 1211 Druid Hill Ave., serves 80% of its families in the Upton Community in which it is located and other families in adjacent areas.  The center has been in operation for forty-four (44) years serving over seven thousand (7,000) families and the community.  The current pastor is Rev. Alvin C. Hathaway, Sr.
