ABOUT US
Pastor Darrell S. Greene is a native Baltimorian. He is a 1962 graduate of Frederick Douglass High School, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education from the Morgan State College (now University) in 1968. Rev. Greene received a Master of Theology Degree from the St. Mary’s Seminary and University’s Ecumenical Institute of Theology in 1980. He has done graduate study at Morgan State University, the University of Maryland, and Johns Hopkins University. Reverend Greene was licensed and ordained at New Shiloh Baptist Church in Baltimore under the leadership of Dr. Harold A. Carter, Sr. He was called to Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Church in Columbia, Maryland in 1980 where he currently serves. Pastor Greene is married to Brenda J. Greene who serves as the Minister of Christian Education at MLK. She is a graduate of Morgan State University and Howard University School of Divinity. They are the parents of one son, Darrell, II who is serving as Assistant Musician. He is a graduate of Morgan State University where he earned a BA in music and sang with the Morgan University Choir under Dr. Nathan M. Carter.
